What are the symptoms of black magic?
CONFUSED INTERPRETATIONS!!!

I am answering this as I have a lot of people who contact me with afflictions and according to their religion I suggest workable mantras, suras, verses etc. But there are also many who assume black magic attacks for unexplained phenomenon and health symptoms.

While a lot of them do have afflictions of various degrees and I do suggest certain tantric spells and yantras (symbols and tools) to prevent certain attacks in the future and ensure safety and cure for current ones, what is intriguing is the increased nos of people who don’t understand these phenomenon and play into the hands of cheats who only extract monies out of them. Many who approach me have approached various ‘babas’ who in spite of taking large amounts as ‘fees’ for ‘pujas’ or ‘tawizs’ have not been able to help.

I want to lay certain signs and symptoms and certain simple remedies people with suspected afflictions can do at home by themselves to prevent any attacks or cure simple afflictions.

Firstly lets know how one gets afflicted by ‘black magic’

By someone deliberately targeting the entire family to harm. Property issues where entire families were targeted to be wiped out or enmity with entire family to bring them to harm. Sometimes the intention is just to ‘teach them a lesson’
By someone targeting just one specific person of a family. Usually the heads of family are attacked to bring the entire family to their knees and then to negotiate with them from a position of weakness. Large tracts of lands where the head of the family is too weak to tend to them or defend them and is forced to part ways with the land or sell it. Many a times the targeted family may know who the culprit is and who gains max out of this but cant do much about it.
A specific person may also be attacked for enmity or love interest to detach the person from the family. An afflicted person suddenly turns hostile to the family only to break down emotionally later when the effect wears off yet again to turn hostile when the attack is resumed and with fervor. One instance I witnessed was when the attack was being done simultaneously when the cure was being administered. Ultimately the more powerful win. But the defence has to be much more powerful than the attack as attacks are very easily done but defence is very tough.
There may not be any person behind the ‘attack’ but an Entity. I don’t want to elaborate into names and types but these are generally ‘khundlas’ - meaning a person stomps on something which is an ‘utara’ (taken off affliction) of someone else. Generally someone who is not an expert on handling the ‘utaras’ doesn’t know how to dispose it off and hence just carelessly lets it loose through stuff used for the ‘utara’ carelessly discarded only to afflict someone else through a ‘khundla’ -stomping by someone else on the material used for cure. Sometimes the demonic entity demands another ‘vehicle’ or ‘home’ or ‘body’ to get into as a condition to let go of an afflicted person. And the weak tantric may just agree as he/she is too weak to handle the demonic force and agrees to this condition. When such a thing happens the demonic force attacks the new ‘body’ or ‘home’ (person) with much fierce energy.
Passing under trees where things of ‘utara’ are tied or demons reside are another reason. Usually large and very old trees are the reason. Even in cities where tracks of land have been cleared for new construction for buildings to come up but very old trees have not been cut down for ‘environmental’ reasons, can continue to harbor such entities.
People who have weak ‘sitaras’ or ‘stars’ or planetary positions may be afflicted by eating or consuming at places which are dirty or close to garbage bins where people may have dumped ‘utaras’. This is more true of non-veg or alcohol consumed rather than vegetarian. Dhabas were hygiene is not maintained and are on the outskirts can be such places too.
Being impure - not having taken a bath after sex or discharge or menstrual cycle and going out may trigger an attack if even passing near a cemetery or very old buildings, or hospitals (where people may have died) or visiting new buildings under construction where during digging of foundation some entities may have been dug out or released which were buried there
Large water bodies or wells where people may have died or committed suicide are vulnerable areas
Now these are the common areas and as long care is taken to always be in a state of purity (bathing from head to toe with no part of body not washed), washing private parts well post defecation and even passing urine is imp. Wearing very strong perfumes or letting loose long hair is another attraction and to be avoided. And not eating at dirty places or avoiding non-veg at open places. So with just these small things one can prevent 60% of afflictions. Remember prevention is better than cure.

Some symptoms of afflictions:

1. Becoming pale and getting dark circles and sudden weight loss

2. Feeling a sense of heaviness or high burden on shoulder or the neck region

3. Unexplained and sudden enmity with family members with unnecessary fights over small issues.

4. Feeling unease while reciting prayers or reading religious books

5. Sudden personality changes where someone who ate very little suddenly eating a lot or having no hunger at all. Someone who hardly spoke now speaking almost non-stop.

6. Sitting all by self and smiling or laughing by themselves or suddenly smiling while looking weirdly at people

7. Talking in a deep voice almost as someone else in between sentences. Suddenly using foul language.

8. Feeling tired and lethargic all the time and not wanting to do anything. Suddenly feeling very drowsy and wanting to sleep.

9. Unexplained phenomenon with weird and unexplained sounds coming from behind the house or outside the door such as scratching sounds, things falling off walls or shelves, religious or spiritual items being moved or changed.

10. Feeling lost, sad and suicidal with no real reason

11. High libido and weird thoughts and dreams that are very unpleasant and very sexual in nature. Many wet dreams or increasing periodicity.

12. A sickness which doctors are not able to explain or cure

13. Feeling something near you, touching you or scratch you or even attack you with no one near by

14. Feeling uncertain fears specially when it’s about to sunset & in the nights

15. Hearing voices in the head or around you which cannot be explained.

Now no jumping to conclusions should be done about these and one should talk to family members if suspect any of the above. Family members shouldn’t just brush these aside but neither scare the person but keep an eye on the person and get a health check up done. Sometimes sheer fatigue, pressure, work load, emotional trauma or loss may trigger events or symptoms.

Now for a few remedies at home apart from the prevention I mentioned already.

Light a diya or incense sticks daily. Pleasant smells drive away small or weak entities. Bad smells, unhygiene of self and home surely invite entities. Keep house good smelling and absolutely clean. Kitchen and toilets should be very clean.
No unclean stuff lying in the bedroom or discarded carelessly. People pick trash and use unclean discarded stuff. Tantrics may use garbage pickers on the road to bring them unclean things from the trash bin which may contain semen or blood.
Daily bath - head to toe.
Never leaving home without a short prayer depending on your belief system.
Regular giving alms of food or clothes to the poor.
Never harming animals or keeping caged pets
Never abusing anyone or harming or threatening them
These are enough to save a lot of trouble later.

Now based on your planetary placements a few things to increase strength of your weaker planets.

With the use of four basic elements the charity (Sadqa) is given and according to the element of the patient.

1. Element Fire: - Giving food to Carnivorous animals such as (meats, liver, lungs, fish etc.)

2. Element water: - Giving food to sea animals such as (floor balls, boiled rice etc.)

3. Element Air: - Giving food to birds such as (millet, wheat, water etc.)

4. Element Earth: - Giving food to insects such as (sugar, rise, lentil etc.)

If one is of fire element then the charity should be done of water element and vice versa. If one is of the air element, the best charity is of earth and vice versa.

For suspected afflictions the horoscope is the starting point for weakness of planets which may invite spiritual challenges and afflictions. Ketu’s position and distance from Jupiter and Moon and condition of the 8th, 12th houses and aspects on them, placement and afflictions on the Moon and certain conjunctions yet again point strongly towards afflictions. Rahus conjunctions with Mars and Saturn and aspects are other pointers especially when connected to maleficly afflicted 5th or 9th. Now without getting into too many details to keep the answer more lucid and short, here are the 3 yantras which can be used.

These yantras can be printed out on a paper, stuck on a thick cardboard and hung behind an almira or a cabinet.

HANUMAN YANTRA

Now these 3 yantras are sufficient to protect maximum homes from afflictions and drive away non-serious or not very grave entities if you follow the Hindu religion. For Muslims and Christians specific verses of the Quran and Bible are more useful as faith is a very strong part of remedies and cure. Of course for severe afflictions more deep study of planetary placements, weaker planets and placements need to be studied.

A good practice is to always get up with a prayer and end the day with a prayer on the bed thanking the Almighty for life when you get up and for a day passed well at the end of the day is imp. Thanking, gratitude, prayer and prevention will ensure protection 90% of the times.

For other times when already under affliction help without any delay is recommended.

As for symptoms of someone under attack here's some I found on the Internet. I am merely posting them. I do have any idea  to an extentthese are true n some as part of inspection:

1. Black magician’s most favorite thing is disturbing the married life of people and leading couples to divorce.
2. When wife or husband will see at face of either they will feel hate to each other. In result their life will become an irritating experience of life.
3. Continuous or consistent habitual headache problem is also sign of black magic.

5. Some victims always feel like they are caught in a cage. They feel lake of oxygen and suffocation while breathing.
6. The person can be made a deaf with magic. He becomes unable to hear others.
7. Magician keeps away the wife from her husband as she gets extra menses periods.
8. Sometimes people may feel extreme and continuous pain in the body especially in knees or backbone.
9. Weakness in body is also a sign of black magic.
10. People become blind even with healthy eyes due to black magic.
11. Crumbling of teeth with pain and blood
12. Abnormal heart beat can also be done with black magic. Victim feels it a heart disease which is not the case in actual.

Hairs of Head: The handful of hairs of the victim is taken and after certain practices, is buried and the victim gets lunatic as a result.

Sand of foot: The sand, on which the victim has walked, is treated and then buried or tided in river.

Nails of Hand and Feet: These are taken to make one your slave and subservient.

Burying of Puppet: This is to done to make an enemy suffer to extreme – its puppet is made through sand, his word cloth and cotton and then needles are punctured in and as a result the person immediately starts to feel tremendous pain and no doctor can cure or diagnose that.

Black magic is real and is present in every culture around the world.One will never believe in it until he himself suffers from it .My close friend was suffering from it for two years.He was earning very much but suddenly everything got changed.Suddenly he started having problems which he never had .First he complaint of a skin irritation and his face went wierdy brownish.After some day at night he started having very fast heart beat.He went to cardiologist have a lots of checkup but no diseasae was found.He than had eye problems and headache at the back of the head which was almost for 24 hours.He visited several doctors had cts mri scans but nothing was found.He also suffered from a throat problem in which his tounge started paining and whenever he speaks he suffers pain but the doctors said they cant diagonise the problems.He suffered for almost for 1.5 yrs but he was not ready to believe that he was suffering from black magic!.Then finally he started to find another ways and went to a maulvi and he got a hint that something is wrong.He was told that he had a “BANDISH”(a magic where a person is bound to something and he cant find a solution for that).After lot of undergoings thanks to Almighty Allah he was relieved from his sufferings and now he is living normal life.

Symptons of black magic he was complaining

Headache all the time(He suffered for almost 1.5 yrs)
Back pain shoulder pain
Throat pain
Sudden heart beating at a very fast pace any time
Facial changes (face becomes very dull)
On diagonasis by the doctors no symptons of any disease was found and every thing seems to be normal.

Signs you might have been cursed by Black Magic include but are not limited to:

Feelings of unease that persist longer than normal (for days or weeks).
Objects, especially those of value, breaking apart in the hands or at the slightest touch.
Strings of coincidental bad luck, usually in 3's or 9′s.
Trouble sleeping or having sleep cycles interrupted at unusual times.
Lots of arguing and fighting, either involving the person directly or going on around them.
Financial troubles.
Sudden illness or death happening around the person.

Now I will give you a solution to fix it.

I’m giving you my advice as a Hoodoo Witch who works like this kind of magic and knows how to help those that have been affected.

If you feel you have been crossed/hexed, then you need to take a cleansing  with uncrossing ingredients:

Rue
Sea Salt
Hyssop
Bay Leaves
Boil the herbs in a large pot of water to make a strong tea. Filter the herbs out and add the herbal tea to your bath water (or do it the traditional way and stand in your shower and slowly pour the tea over yourself).

Usually Psalm 37 is read aloud, as the words in this psalm are a powerful cleansing incantation, used for all types of uncrossing, unjinxing and unhexing.

TIP: It doesn’t matter if you’re not a Catholic or Christian, it’s the words that matter here, just like any spell. I’m not Catholic or Christian but I use the psalms for particular spells and rituals as they are VERY effective. Actually there are many ways you can tell you have been hexed /kaala jaadu/ Black magic. You just have to see those signs and then admit you have a problem. Many people keep suffering from black magic only because they refuse to admit it. Signs you should look for.

Bad dreams. Are you suddenly experiencing nightmares that leave your awake in the middle of the night? Unless you have suddenly developed gastric problems it can be the very first subtle effects of black magic.

A ritual is performed and a heart is pulled out from a live animals body while it is vibrating and placed into the heart area of the doll, at this point the doll is infused with life connecting the doll with the victim with an invisible psychic chord. Once the doll and the victim are connected, 2-3 inch needles are pushed in the doll at specific acupuncture points to break the energy system of the victim. As the pins are pushed into the doll the victim feels as if a needle is being pierced into his body. The victim can be sitting thousands of miles away and will experience the attacks instantaneously. If the victim was made to eat or drink food and/or water that consists of “Masaan” (Ash of the Dead) infused with negatively charged energy by the black magician, the effects are life threatening and gives unlimited control over the victims Mind & Body. The prime focus of the black magician is to destroy the immune system of their victim.

In case of a man: head & temple area, thumbs & big toes are targeted to break the immune system.

In case of women, breasts and private parts are attacked to terrorize & harm the victim.

The individual can be killed using this technique in as little as 28 days (one Moon cycle). I got married believing I would have a partner to share life with a healthy family Instead, I ended up more alone than ever before rather bunch of craps n abuses on physical n mental level with my education being my biggest curse as the  prime statement all time popping up from in laws n family..Place where reading a English newspaper was a bad habit as daughter in law comes to work not to read ... where talking to elders n sharing your genuine problems seems to be rude n disobedient...where wearing or dressing twice a day means you have bad character or you have habit of not valuing money .. much more in que which kept on going . .stealing of belongings also became a hard way to survive n a matter of self security n Moreover for the same you were blamed being careless what a beautiful world God has created must say how KARMA'S pay back in various forms.....never mind .. 

SHACKLED TO A DEAD MARRIAGE
I was left alone in our marriage. My husband didn’t know how to acknowledge my feelings or show me his support. After 6 months of courtship and 4 (2 years separated) years of marriage, we gradually become strangers — to the point where mutual understanding faded and there was hardly a trace of connection left between us.
I wanted him to hear me out, to show that he cared about how I felt and to notice what I was going through. But that wasn’t something he wanted to do. He was a “best friend” to others outside our home, but for many years I felt like I came in second place to everything. I was left thinking, I wish he wanted to be my friend. When I told him how I felt, he’d dismiss my feelings as if they weren’t even real. We became strangers, living under the same roof, hardly talking. On the rare occasions we did talk, it usually ended in arguments. We even slept on same bed as if in separate rooms because he didn't want to be near me.
When my husband was present, he was never really there for me and our daughter. He had moved on before, but I wouldn’t let myself accept that fact. He spent so much time outside the house that I was basically raising my daughter alone. People loved him — he was their hero and needed his help. He ended up just being a provider, but I also needed him to be a co-parent.

My ex pretended rather was workaholic having (his ex) no where at priority. He would often work on weekends. While I waited for him to come home in the evenings, he’d be in his office still working at something or spending his evenings out with friends. When he did come home, instead of being with me, he would start spending much time out and often stayed glued to his phone till the wee hours of the or television . We hardly even had meals together. Several days a week he would come home at one in his timing as if I was a mere maid kept for household work simply , telling me he’d already eaten and not to wait up for him.

To my shock, in the last few years of our marriage, I realized he’d found someone else.

He used to pass signs to me he was emotionally, mentally, and physically done with me maybe because my parents didn't had enough to pay for me to continue this term called marraige but his statements never truly sank in.

Out of all the moment n that one fine complete bleedy night while my clothes n face was whole blooded n mental abuse by each individual have taken me to another area of my mind which I have never seen a new me discovered n it all ended . All the abuses & physical torture that started just a week after the marriage was tolerated considering the love of the value which my UPBRINGING had given me to continue the bond of marriage at any cost being any situation it is sailing through finally broke down the way n virtually took the last breath as bond of TOGETHERNESS....I couldn't consider the crime of departing a son with parents else may would have given a chance  of fresht separately seeing the one year old angel in my hands I felt helpless but had no other way left except standing on my legs n making my professional standards firm at par created a mark upto the level expected to but some not somewhere the ideal life of normal people was no more my choice ...started running away from all n kept on working with several ideas n platforms just to engage mind at home or mostly being with my only family as my daughter ..  was surrounded by so many people enjoying every festival n celebration around but seemed no colours in it ...life kept going n adding colours with the angel n so on until she was about to be 4 ( 4 months back )
When it finally sunk in, I cocooned. I wanted to be alone because I had nothing more to give him. I battled with my mind and with our relationship. If I brought up his behavior, we would fight and then he'd get busy or sleep alone n I kept on crying whole night for end number of months just to talk him once n vent out my feelings which fortunately happended rare n that too ended with blame games n no support on my end ever. I consulted the psychologist, thinking I was having a nervous breakdown. I started taking prescription medication for depression. It made me feel like I was hopelessly sick and alone.He never saw what was happening to me because he was too busy or he was somewhere else. I was falling apart because he didn’t acknowledge his part in our dead marriage. He blamed it all on me. When I asked him to join me in couple's counselling, he refused. Because I continued to see my psychologist alone, he told family and friends I had a mental condition.

To my shock, in the last few years of our marriage, I realized he’d found someone else. I turned a blind eye to his adultery and continued living with him even though I knew he was emotionally and physically involved with another woman. I just didn’t want to let go of him. I was afraid of complete abandonment.

For days I had shut myself inside.

But I overcame my depression by starting to work on myself — just myself. I reached out to the family members and friends who accepted me as I was. I engaged in healthy communities, which helped to pull me out of the shackles of my dead marriage, which I had been told was my fault. I realized I should turn to God to receive the unconditional love and acceptance I needed.

For days I had shut myself inside. There was immense emotional damage, and by not sharing and allowing myself to renew, I had been carrying all the stress of life by myself. By letting go of a dead relationship, I was able to be healed and to become myself again, with a new beginning.

I feel I am well on my way to recovery. All I’ve been through has made me stronger than I thought I could ever be. I have lived my life in many colours — some cold and some warm hues. Whatever canvas I’ve painted so far, it has made me who I am today. I now believe there was purpose in my struggle.

Dear Daughter, I Don’t Want You to Grow Up Pampered Princess  Tell me what TRUE BEAUTY means to you. It’s time we redefine beauty!
Life can be hard, mom tells her daughter, and I want you to become tough enough to be able to take it head-on, not be a pampered princess.
Every now and then I send her a mail with little anecdotes, my feelings for her, the name of the song she loves to dance upon, a video of when she laughed hysterically as her dad made monkey face and so on. I intend to keep doing that and give her the password once she grows up. I feel she will also be able to experience how we celebrated and enjoyed little moments of her childhood.
A few days after her first birthday, I drafted a mail, the gist of which was ironically – you are not a princess.

First a little background on why I chose such a morbid topic. As we look around there are two kinds of families – those still stuck in patriarchal mindset where birth of a girl child is frowned upon and girls are still discriminated against, and a second kind where the girls are cherished like princesses and treated like one too.

I don’t want to talk about the disgusting regressive mindset of the first kind but there is something wrong with the second group too.

In my role as a teacher I came across numerous university girls who were unable to cope with studies, and a little rebuttal would result in a stream of tears often leading to anxiety attacks. Many girls had a hard time adjusting in hostels, eating mess food, and could not survive without an air conditioner in their rooms. In recent heart-breaking news, a girl in Mysore committed suicide as her hair-straightening procedure went wrong and she had excessive hair-loss. Much ahead leading family trust broken how own siblings rather parents impart moral values to drain everything of your's.

Few mistakes have no correction rather just the RESULT.....

Girls ending their life over a failed relationship or bad result have become common news. In a quest to provide unconditional love and protect them from hardships, we have created entitled individuals unable to tackle real life issues.

So II don’t know how the future pans out for my daughter, but here is what I wrote –

My darling…

You are a piece of my heart, but I don’t want you to be treated like a princess. I would rather prefer calling you my power puff girl. My girl is not a Cinderella waiting for her prince charming; she is a Moana unafraid to sail out on her own to build her future.

You will forever have your mother love and support, but I want to prepare you for a world that is full of all kinds of people, and life that may bring you face to face with unexpected circumstances. As you grow up you may face various situations – your closest friends having no qualms gossiping behind your back, your teachers being unfairly biased, relationships that break your heart or a boss being unnecessarily judgmental.

This does not mean that everyone is unfair; in fact most people are actually kind, but it’s just a part of life and I want you to be strong enough to take the ups and downs in your stride.

How happy or sad we are marginally depends on our circumstances and majorly on how we respond to a situation.

Chose your battles wisely and learn to let it go. If a situation seems tough and out of control and you find it hard to go on just look around and you will find me by your side. I promise to walk along with you as you carve your own path.

Be happy, confident in your skin, kind and humble.

                  Forgiveness frees the soul

The client is a young working professional and senses a huge emotional blockage and a void leading to loneliness.Though he has a family and good number of friends yet he feels that no one is there for him. He lost his parents when he was a teenager and his elder siblings were eventually married and settled. Since that time he has been living alone until he got married. There is always this fear and uneasiness of getting connected with people as he feels they would eventually leave him and he would be left alone.

He doesn't accept anyone's help and doesn't like to be dependent on anyone. His life has been about 'I am on my own' and 'I don't need anyone's help' ! This is hampering his personal life and professional growth as he is not comfortable working in a team.

The interview process takes time hence it was done in a separate sitting before the actual session. After two days of the one on one session the client messaged that he's feeling quiet anxious and having sleepless nights in anticipation of what is in store for him! This usually happens when the issue is triggered within the soul and it realises that the solution is nearby!
I owe the healing and PLR sessions success  to my Masters blessings and it is my belief that the sessions are divinely guided as most of the clients have similar experience where in they feel an inner awakening.This soul awakening brings in a permanent shift in the clients life!

Within moments of going into Alpha state the client regressed to his childhood memory where he saw himself as a young boy playing in a house. Though his mother was around yet he felt alone, so he was further regressed to the womb. He didn't feel connected and there was a sadness that he felt being in the womb.

It was now clear that the issue is linked to previous lives. So the next step involved going further to a life which held the key to this loneliness. The client saw himself as a teenager in a big house. He sees his grandmother (who had passed away quiet early in this life) and many other people, but not his parents. On asking where his parents are he says they are no more and no one is sharing what happened to them, but they are not around and he was left all alone. He was once again a victim in that life similar to his current life.

When a client comes for his problems to be resolved through past life therapy he usually plays the role of a victim. To release the issue it is important to get back to that life where he has been the persecutor! For as per the law of the Universe or Karma whatever you may want to call it, when one goes through any pain or suffering and becomes a victim of the same, he has given that same pain to someone which he is now experiencing! And he keeps going through the same until the Soul realises it as it's own creation, this is when the lessons are learnt and the Soul breaks free from the vicious cycle of that Karma!

The second life he saw was also a victim life where he got separated from his parents in a religious festival while visiting a temple and never saw them again.

In the third life he saw himself as a young boy with lot of differences with his parents. As per him his two siblings are more favoured by them as they are obedient. He is of a rebellious nature and doesn't like interference so one day he runs away from his home. He can hear his parents calling out his name but he doesn't look back. He moves to a new city and gets busy in earning money and building a new life. He doesn't marry as he loves his freedom. Over the years he starts missing his family and feels lonely. At the age of 65 he leaves the body and the soul sees that there is no one around to even pick up his body to cremate. This makes his extremely sad.

Now it was time for the soul to review that life. On looking back he realised that it was he who left his loved ones and not the other way round. This filled him with guilt and grief so we did the Re-scripting where he was made to revisit that life and re create it in a positive way. He went back home and reunited with his family eventually leading a fulfilling life. At the time of death he saw himself surrounded by his near ones and that brought in peace. The emotions of loneliness were released from the soul level.

The client had left his parents because of which those souls went through pain of separation as closure never happened. Also they were fearful of their other children leaving them. This was the same feeling/fear/emotion that the client experienced in his subsequent lives, including the current one.
The client was made to seek forgiveness from his parents souls which brought a surge of emotions. We requested the Divine Energies to now release the soul contract between these three souls. Once this process happened he saw them merging into divine light and his face radiated with calmness and peace.
On coming out of the session his first words were 'I feel so light as if a burden has been lifted'

He later sent across a heart touching testimony of his experience which I would share later. Two days back he messaged that he visited his home town and for the first time in years he called up most of his friends and revived lost relationships! Also one of his close neighbor there told him that his face has changed a lot since his visit last month - a visible change seen physically of the new found peace and abundance within!

Most people think that they live, but in fact they are merely surviving.
To truly live means to immerse yourself in the journey of life and make the most out of it, not wasting a single moment. It means to explore and discover, to laugh, play and have fun, to connect with others, to share your being and experience love, to make mistakes, learn from them and grow into the best version of yourself.
What the majority of people do is wasting their entire lives doings things that don’t benefit them at all. In fact, those things usually harm them in ways they are not even aware of. They turn them into passive beings and burden their psyche with toxic energy, preventing them from experiencing life to its fullest — hence they end up filled with regrets because of the emotional needs they never managed to satisfy.
Below are five signs that you may be wasting your life, along with helpful tips on how to live better:
1. TV has become your best friend
A clear sign that you are wasting your life is that you spend hours every day in front of a TV screen, passively and unquestionably allowing in yourself huge piles of audiovisual trash that television is filling you with.
TV is a propaganda machine, feeding people’s minds with lies, by presenting false news and manipulative advertising with the only purpose to influence them into believing deceitful information and buying products. Television is also the greatest stupid entertaining device, offering people cheap substitutes for experiences that they deep down wish to live through soaps and reality shows, which in the end only leave them unfulfilled and thirsty for more drama.
If you desire to stop living passively and start spending your time wisely, a first good step you can take is to throw your TV set straight into your rubbish bin!

2. You do work that you don’t love doing
Another sign that much of your life is being wasted is that you do work that you don’t like doing, but which you do just because you feel forced to.
In the unfair and unjust economic system that we currently have, most people feel compelled to work as wage slaves in order to make ends meet, wasting almost every day half of their waking life working for big corporations that are hugely exploiting them, sucking their energy dry, not allowing them any space to creatively express themselves and contribute anything of importance to the world.
If you are sick of this kind of living, do your best to seek for ways to do work that you truly love doing, and earn your income from pursuing your passions. This way you will be more creative, productive, feel less stress and experience more freedom, as well as get immense satisfaction from sharing your gifts to the world. Of course, this cannot be easily achieved, but it’s totally worth the effort.
Having said that, ideally one should not be motivated to work because of any monetary reward, but out of his or her very love for work alone, which currently is almost impossible for 99% of the people across the planet. In our debt-based monetary system, the harsh reality is that most people need to “get a job”, whether they like it or not, with the socioeconomic forces pressuring them to do anything in order to “earn their living”, no matter whether it’s beneficial to them and the world or not, just so they can get food and a roof.
3. You always want to buy new stuff
Are you one of those people who desire to continuously buy new products in order to feel good about themselves? Then you’re certainly wasting your life trying to satisfy your emotional needs, by spending tremendous amounts of money in order to experience temporary psychological highs that in the end will only leave you empty and disappointed.
In the materialistic world that we are living, we’ve been conditioned to believe that buying stuff will immensely improve the quality of our lives — it will make us more beautiful, loving, confident, and so on and so forth. People who have bought into those lies have fallen into the trap of mindless consumerism, wasting much of their lives comparing themselves to others, not accepting themselves for who they are and always trying to feel better about themselves by acquiring new material things.
To escape the prison of materialism, you need to realize that once you manage to cover your basic physical needs, no product is going to make you feel better about yourself or will improve your relationship with others. You need to look somewhere else for that: pursuing your passions, building meaningful connections with other people, and developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the world you inhabit.

4. Your thoughts are constantly in the past or the future
From a very young age we’ve been conditioned to sacrifice today for the pleasures of tomorrow. Thus, most people do whatever they can in order to live a better future, forgetting the only true moment there ever was, is, and will be — the present moment. As a result, they don’t savor what existence is offering them each and every moment, and at some point in their journey of life they start having regrets, realizing that for years upon years they have not been living fully and intensely.
There are also those who are continuously attached to the past, who are so focused on it that it drains their energy, not allowing them to be mindful of the here and now, thus unconsciously wasting their lives.
Be sure to learn from yesterday, so that you live better today, and a brighter tomorrow will follow. But never let your thoughts of the past or the future influence you so much that you are not aware of the present moment.
5. You follow what others tell you
A sure way to waste your life is to blindly follow what others are dictating to you. Don’t think, and let others do the thinking for you. Don’t listen to your inner voice, and let others decide what is good and right for you. Don’t form your own ideas, and believe without question in what authority presents you as the truth.
Unfortunately, this is the way most people are living. They follow rules and obey orders, fearing to speak their voice and live the way they deep down desire to live. They suppress themselves in all sorts of ways just in order to be accepted by society, but this only results in them being depressed and dependent.
If you want to regain your freedom and live a meaningful life, doubt what tradition has taught you, say “no” to any authority figure that is subjugating you, escape the herd and create your own path. Embrace your individuality, take responsibility for your actions, and don’t let others direct your life — in short, gather the courage to reject playing the victim and be the hero of your story.
